Crypto Christianity: Rome's Downfall and India's Warning

Could a hidden force reshape civilizations? One did before...

Is India's Hindu civilization vulnerable, as the Roman Empire once was? Let's examine the evidence.....

Crypto Christians are those who convert to Christianity secretly, remaining "Hindu or Muslim" on paper. They blend in, aiming to spread their own propoganda from within.

Official documents don't tell the whole story. A converted Crypto Christian may hold government positions but secretly work to undermine other faiths.

"Crypto" means "secret" in Greek, and this tactic is ancient. The Roman Empire, a vast polytheistic civilization, began in 600 BC and fell by the 15th century. Was Crypto Christianity a factor?........let's see.

Roman Gods

Romans, like Hindus, worshipped many deities. Conflict with Jews led to Roman conquest of Israel. Jesus Christ was born around 4 BC, and Christianity began its spread.

Emperor Trajan (98-117 AD) banned Christianity, which didn't stop Christians as the Missionaries turned to secrecy, creating the first Crypto Christians. Roman leaders at this point were oblivion to the danger.

Then came Constantine, Emperor (306-337 AD). The twist? Unknown to Roman people, he was a Crypto Christian! Influenced by his mother, Helena, he cleverly hid his true beliefs.

Constantine played a deceptive game. He publicly upheld Rome's traditional religion, expanded the empire, and gained his people's trust. Then, in 313 AD, he legalized Christianity, setting the stage for its dominance. Within 150 years, a mighty civilization was transformed. Europe, once Greco-Roman, became Christian.

Crypto-Christianity became a tool of survival in regions under Islamic rule: the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
What about India?

British colonialism brought Christianity on a large scale in India. Some celebrated "social reformers" might have been secret converts, but we know that some were openly Christian converts. This initial groundwork targeted divisions within Hindu society.

Post-independence, the game intensified. India had no Christian-majority states then. Today, there are three: Nagaland, Mizoram, and Meghalaya. More states could follow.

Official 2011 figures: 2.3% Christian (30 million). But Cryptos could push that to 5-10%! Some convert for reservation benefits while secretly practicing Christianity.

Notice how powerful, educated Hindus often attack Hinduism online? They might be Cryptos...

Some influential figures accused of being Cryptos: politicians, journalists, even the head of the Tirupati Temple board... (Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Stalin, Kejriwal, etc.)

No proof exists, as Cryptos legally remain Hindu. Online, they spread anti-Hindu propaganda. On the ground, they work for conversion (think Palghar case).

Rome fell within a century of a Crypto Emperor. How long before India faces a similar threat?
